Once there was a girl called Sumrah Jamal. She was a girl that always gets a tick for her English most of the times. She was really good with art too, her best friend was called Nusaybah Maszlee.
They were best friends and went to the same school and always sit together. But one day she went to the the woods with her best friend Nusaybah,when they first came to the woods they saw a big scary bear and they ran back but they didn't know the way home.but they did see a little cottage and inside there was lots of cats and kittens,and they were wondering why were there cats,and Sumrah said maybe a thief was stealing them,but Nusaybah said how do you know that all and Sumrah said because look at that it says dear old nanny I will steal your cats when I am finished with the other ones from the cat thief.See i told you Nusaybah it says the cat thief man why does he really like to get cats maybe his a cat thief that likes cats we should find him and tell him stop stealing cats and we can give them a back to the owners,yup I think you have a good idea and I will help you with that,Sumrah said thanks.So Nusaybah and Sumrah set off to find the cat thief, but while they were walking they saw the big bear that was trying to chase them,but it wasn't really trying to chase them it was really trying to say I want to find my child some kind of human thief stole it while i was sleeping,Sumrah had an idea and said was the thief wearing black and white and the bear said why yes he was dear, so then Sumrah, Nusaybah and the bear

Today I learned maths,English and writing on my blog and for maths I learned multiplication it was hard but it soon got easy,for the next subject I learned English about vocabulary I thought I was going to finish late today but I finish early then I had to wright in my blog witch I am doing now well thats all for today.

Yesterday Me, and my family, went to the beach.It was very calm and makes my mind refresh.I thought that you could just scream and you would feel good and it would but walking on the beach and watching the sea flow it very callmmmmmmmm........~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (This is a small wave in blue) Speaking of waves maybe this will calm you !

The day I went to london

I woke up and and looked so sleepy,but why
I saw everyone getting ready,but why

Because we had to go to London.
Because we were going to be late and the london hotel might be closed.
Because for the next day we might be late for my dad's interview.

I really wanted to be early to sleep in the hotel,because I really wanted to see how the hotel looks like,and sleep in it,because I never ever went to a hotel and I really do like hotels so it was my mommet to see one and i really couldn't believe my eyes when we reached there because I was actually in one so I said to my brothers and sister ''I had never been to a hotel in my whole life,then my mother said ''be quiet so,I was quiet.The reason why my mum said be quiet is because some people was sleeping and we might get in trouble if we might wake them up.

When we walked to the hotel and went inside a women gave us a pass for the door
we took the pass and went to a room,we ate some food that my mum brought.She made them.
She made ribina,spaghetti and brownies,we slept and me and the others slept in one room and my parents slept in another room.

When we woke up we watched tv and what we watched was brain-jitsu and more kids story.
Then our mum came and told us we had to send our dad to his interview so we did and after that we had to go some where fun it was COVENTRY.

In Ayesha's house

We went to my favorite family's friend Ayesha's and played fun stuff. Ayesha is only 3 but cute.The next day we played bubbles an we had a lot of fun. I am the big one in the corner. Ayesha is the 0ne with the purple top and my little brother is the one holding up his hand.

Today I am doing home schooling. I did math English and writing in my blog about Ayesha as you can see. I had taken a long time but I manage to finished. THE END read with a smile.

On school day I had to do a spring assembly and my mum and little brother went to see it.I had to dance and walk around,and the girl who is behind me is my best friend,her name is Shuma.I like the bit when we done the hen play it was about a cat a dog and a duck they didn't help to get the ingredient's for making bread.It was the hen's idea,when the hen was finished with the bread they all said can we taste but the hen said no because you never helped me.that was the story.I loved the assembly it was great.

COVENTRY DAY

first we got ready to go to Coventry and my mum promised me i can sleep in syahir house and then we walked to the car and went to London first and slept at a hotel and went to Coventry and went to lots of peoples houses and my mum dad sisters and my little brother stayed at my uncle's house while i slept at syahir's house and in the morning syahir let me ride one of his bikes and we rode from stoney stantun road to ena road park and syahir said i wish you lived in Coventry so we can play together and that is how i feel by syameem

MY FUN WEEKEND

On the 15th of March 2008 we had one family from Coventry and one family from Manchester!

It was the one of my best weekends yet, The family from Coventry was my friend, her name is Aliyyah.And she came with her brother Asim which is the same age as my smaller sister and Aliyyah is same age as my smaller brother, there dad and grandma came to, there mum didn't come because she had a lot of work to do.

The family from Manchester cam to our house came earlier to our house then the Coventry family, The family from Manchester came with 2 kids very small , grandma , grandpa, Mum and dad.

It was like a hotel then! The first day Aliyyah came, she and i made a world record but we didn't know how to enter, but we knew we did a world record .

The record was 'The World Tallest Book tower' (which me and her called).I never made a world record we took lots of pictures here are some !

MY JOURNEY TO MALAYSIA

First i packed my stuff in my bag then i looked if i had forgot anything.My mum and dad helped to take the luggages in the van.Everyone got in the van and set of to the Newcastle international airport.We all went to a queue with lots of people going to all sorts of countries,and some were even coming back from the countries.While we were waiting for our flight some of us bought stuff and some of us went toilet and even stayed at a place with sofa and chairs.We gave our ticket to the airport people and we put our luggages into this machine that carries our luggage,to the country.

I'm going to Emirates airline,it's the best airline ever.When i went in, i loved it there in the airoplane, it was cosy.When we arrived we arrived at Dubai airport.We went shopping in dubai airport and bought keychanges and others.then we gave the passport to the people to see.Then we went to another Emairates airline again,but this time we landed at kuala lumper airport and i saw my grandpa and cousins.I went to my grandauntie's house and ate there,played there and done all sorts of stuff.

This is my journey to malaysia last December.

I try couple of time to squeeze in to write something in here or post a picture. But time just flowing without me noticing, unfortunately. So, today, I manage to post some

Bottom: Syameem's Geography book. It's introduction about world and UK.

Bottom: AH worksheet which I haven't been able to stick it in his book yet.

All the work of the children will be done in their work book. Worksheet which had been printed will also be sticking in their book. So, we can see what we been doing and all children work can be organize easily. It's also an evidence of what we been learning. Each of the children had their own workbook for every subject.

Alhamdulillah, there are actually plenty and many work we have done since we been home school. I adapted the system which my children used when they were in school. To set up their own work book for each subject. By doing this, all their work nicely organize and I now where they are and what we been learning together. It's also an evidence to show our learning process.

I try to go through each lesson according to the level they are by reading and following the UK national curriculum in certain subject. There are some subject I had tailor my own curriculum by adapting the lesson from US and UK also from my experience in Malaysian Education system.

I still not having or organize or set up our homeschool curriculum yet at the moment and still do lots of reading and try to understand my self on where the children actually are. But, although I'm still in the middle of chaos in term of setting up curriculum, our school did run and progress and I just setting up the curriculum while I go along.

The situation is not actually something I like. Because I can't really see in paper and get clear picture at the moment, what next and next may be for the next other weeks or months. Because I'm kind of person need to know what next and next.

I do hope that I will catch some time when I can actually give my children a break and I can actually work on it. Unfortunately at the moment, children love work so much. They even ask me to give them some work they can do for weekend or at night. Given them a holiday, won't last for long because they will keep asking me when we gonna start study!!

Anyway, I couldn't write much because I need to go back to our homechool. Insya Allah I'll try to up date and also the kids will try to give a bit of their time to keep a journal o our homeschool journey.

Today i learned Arabic, then i learned some maths, it was quite hard but in the end i got the hang of it, but my favorite piece of work was on Monday the 18th February 2007, it was History i love history and art they are my favorite subjects

Hello Readers, my name is Sabeera and I'm homeschooling. Yesterday afternoon we had a really fantastic time it all started when we all went recycling, it was fun :
After that we went to a museum , it is called by
the name Dorman Museum, It was the best FREE Museum ever, by the time we reached we had went in and saw some wonderful display at the from desk office the were some fake bears, foxes etc.. ,Then we went through the History
section which was the first place we went :

Then we went through my favorite part which was the Bird section, it had all kinds of birds that live in UK and other places round the world, And they showed eggs in a glassed cabinet they were so interesting ,it was almost if they were all real and i have been watching them crack open and as the mother feeds them worms...:

A few minutes later we all went through the War section, it was fascinating, as we walked past i saw an Anderson Shelter with Army hats, i wore one, they were really heavy ! :

hi I'm Syameem and me and my brother and sisters are home schooling.
At first, we went to recycle our glass bottles, then we went to Dorman museum and saw fake animals. then we went to see the snakes well fake snakes soon we went up stairs and saw some Egyptian pots. And then we finally arrived at the dinosaur section I wrote a lot of information but the best thing was when I touch a real dinosaur fossil. After that we ran to the park it had lots of cool rides then we went back to our home and made lovely donuts I said ''that was cool day.''
